Correspondence was received from Municipal Affairs. Grants to be received: MSI Capital $61,467; $8,200 Basic Municipal Transportation; Operating $7,119; Gas Tax Fund $14,294.
MGA Update
A draft of the survey has been received and returned to Municipal Planning Services.
Municipal Affairs – Municipal Indicators
The Ministry is pleased to inform the Village that the Summer Village of West Baptiste did not trigger any of the 13 indicators in the Municipal Indicator Report.
Roads
The Village roads were discussed. Vivian Driver will contact David Gray requesting quotes for road work in 2020.
Grass cutting
Grass cutting was awarded to Bob Driver for 3 years, 2020, 2021, and 2022 at a fixed price of $ 4,500.00 per year.
Councillors’ Reports
Mike Schouten attended the joint September Villages meeting on Sept.7 . He will be attending the Greater North Foundation meeting to be held in Grassland on November 4th.
Larry Armfelt, Councillor for Division 8, will be contacted regarding the cleaning of the culvert near 1119 Baptiste Dr as it appears there is still debris. And, Councillor Armfelt will be asked if any repairs are planned for the County bridge near the south end of the Summer Village.
