Council discussed road repairs for 2020. It was agreed to wait until after the thaw and then consult David Gray.
6.4 Appointment – Auditor
MOTION: That Seniuk and Company be appointed auditor for the Village for 2020.

6.5 Firebans
The Provincial Government has issued a total fire ban for the Forest Protection Area for the 2020 season, (includes the roads on either end of the Village). Council discussed and agreed to keep the same procedure as Athabasca County. The Administrator will contact Ron Jackson to confirm the same procedure as in previous years. It is expected there will be a total ban of all fires and of ATVs within Athabasca County and the Summer Village of West Baptiste by April 23rd, 2020.

8. Information Items
8.1 Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP)
The subject of installing temporary docks has been discussed by Government departments for some time. There may be information available from AEP in the future; and, it may be discussed at the Association of Summer Villages conference in Oct.
