MOTION: That the Summer Village of West Baptiste contribute $15,000 to the Athabasca Multiplex Pool from the 2019-2020 budget; on the condition that approval is received to use MSI Capital funds.

1321 , 1127 Baptiste Dr
1321 Baptiste Dr had a tree fall on the owner’s dock from a reserve. Discussion. Our research showed that if the Village was not made aware of the situation, then it cannot be held responsible.
Baptiste Drive and RR 670 . In this area of Baptiste Dr water has been known to flood portions of Baptiste Drive. Council met with David Gray. David Gray will be submitting a quote to install a culvert and possibly do some landscaping.
Tree Removal
A quote was received from NGW Logging to remove some trees on a north end reserve. Council discussed and will consult legal advice to develop a policy/bylaw regarding removing trees from Village reserves.
Policy Manual
Village policies will be collected into a Manual.
Liability Policy
Legal advice will be solicited regarding a Liability Policy waiver for the Summer Village regarding piers, docks installed from a reserve, storing on Village reserves.
Annual Open House
The Annual Open House was held July 14th with 10 residents in attendance.
